If you are considering buying a pre-owned vehicle we can offer a pre-purchase vehicle examination service which includes a thorough and detailed inspection by a qualified vehicle technician. The reports are clear and easily understood and are supported by a valuation service, a mileage check and a vehicle history check and the added benefit of support and assistance from our central office.
We at Automotive Consulting Engineers Ltd have many years of experience in carrying out both pre purchase and post purchase vehicle examinations. Whilst it can never be completely guaranteed that a vehicle purchased can be total free from risk, we can assist in identifying defects which may result in substantial rectification costs at a future date. We can also assist in confirming the vehicle's history prior to the vehicle being inspected.
We provide 3 reports to cover purchasing of a vehicle. These consist of two examination reports, an examination light and an examination major and a vehicle history check. You may ask 'why two examination reports?;'
We at Automotive Consulting Engineers Ltd believe that on commissioning the report, the client should get good value for money. In certain circumstances where workshop facilities are not available the more in-depth major report cannot be carried out. As such, we carry out the light report which still covers the major components for defect but is not as in-depth as the major report.
